outdated concepts in a first aid survival situation.
If you don’t think you need first aid training, consider this. Something can happen to you or to people you know and love no matter where you go. Driving in a car, walking down the street, even walking down the steps or eating dinner can be an accident waiting to happen. You can fall, choke, or have a medical emergency of some kind while doing any of these activities. Ask yourself- will you know what to do in these situations?
When faced with an emergency situation, you could assume that you will know what to do. But unless the protocols for first aid are ingrained in your mind, you are prone to forgetting them if you are in a state of panic. To prevent this, it is a good idea to get the best first aid training possible. It is very essential to take first aid classes if you spend a lot of time in the outdoors, work with a lot of children or people, or just want to live your life knowing that you will be safe.
